Appeal

There is enormous talent among the young underprivileged children of our country, whose brilliance, if given an opportunity can shine like cut and polished diamonds. Education is a great opportunity for these bright underprivileged students to get out of the clutches of poverty. BREAD solicits your partnership in this endeavor to equip these children to lead better life with education.

A.P. Govt. is giving tuition fee related scholarships to students pursuing higher education with parental income below Rs. 1 lakh per annum. In addition, it is giving monthly maintenance scholarships to certain categories such as SC / ST / BC and Minorities. Since all the students from govt. schools belong to the same economic layer, BREAD Society is awarding annual maintenance scholarships to those categories excluded by the Govt. of A.P. from receiving maintenance scholarships, provided they fulfill the criteria of BREAD Society.

It has also taken up the following new programs.

  1. ‘Children’s Libraries’ in Govt. Schools to cultivate reading habit among children.
  2. ‘Coaching Assistance’ to enable bright scholars to reach their maximum potential.
  3. ‘Study Centres’ in Remote areas to bring awareness about the importance of education among parents and students and to unearth the untapped potential.
  4. ‘SSC and CEEP Coaching Study Centers’ for taking up Vocational Courses.
  5. BREAD Society is now supplying the tree seedlings and guards (where necessary) in High schools where it has established Libraries and to BREAD Scholars in colleges. They will nurture the tree seedlings enabling them to grow in to trees.

BREAD Society earnestly solicits your patronage for sponsorship under one or more of the following programs. Options for donation:
